The vastness, the flatness, the purity of the light – if you get married at the Salt Flats, your photos are going to look RAD. I love photographing weddings and elopements at the Salt Flats because it is truly like no place else on Earth. There was a lake here once upon a time, but the lake evaporated and left behind this amazing photographer’s paradise. The Salt Flats are a totally gorgeous, totally outrageous, totally breathtaking area in Utah just outside of Salt Lake City.įirst of all, what the heck are the Salt Flats (sometimes called the Bonneville Salt Flats)? It might look like sand, but it is actually salt, as far as the eye can see. If that’s you, then we need to talk about the Utah Salt Flats. Or do you picture something different?
